Wishing Wells

Wishing wells are becoming more & more popular these days as many (if not most!) couples have shared a home before the wedding day, & already own many of the traditional wedding gifts. These couples therefore often provide wishing wells at their reception so that guests may safely deposit monetary gifts. This money is then used to help the Bride and Groom on their newly married life eg towards setting up home, paying for their honeymoon (or extra spending money for their honeymoon), paying for the reception or in some cases as a donation towards a charity.
